seeking information about my Dad's Uncle James Taborsky. James disowned his
family and went into the Army in 1917. His place of enlistment was Lincoln
Nebraska. He was discharged honorably 2 years later June 1919. I suppose he may

I am a Czech researcher being interested in post-war aviation history
and looking for living relatives or/and descents of Mr. Ernest Ralph
STEHLIK (b. 18 February 1897 in Elk Creek,NE; d. February 1976). His
parents should be Mr. Rudolf STEHLIK (a Czech immigrant) and Mrs. Emma
STEHLIK (nee STUART). He was a Protestant by religion and single by
1948-49. Mr. Ernest R. STEHLIK was an aircraft mechanic and in the half
of 1940s, he was working as a field service representative of the
Lockheed Aircraft Corp., for a Lockheed "Constellation" Airliner family
(L-049, L-649 and 649A, L-749 and L-749A Models) mainly (he was e.g.
called as "Mr. Constellation" by the TWA crews on their North Atlantic
run because what he knews about the "Constellation" was not even in the
maintenance manuals). His last known residence was Ash Grove, MO.
Also any contacts with someone who knew him is more then welcomed. Thank

Couldn't help but notice the last name--The same as my grandfather's. I

Although I'm not Czech (a Pole as you can see!) I have come to love the
CR and the Czech people. I was fortunate to spend 10 days in Prague last
