Join Lincoln Symphony Orchestra on March 14, 2014 at 7:30 for an evening exploring Czech food, culture and music. The concert begins with Dvořák’s Prague Waltzes and three movements from Smetana’s Má Vlast, conjuring images of Czech landscapes, history, and legends. The concert closes with Dvořák’s Symphony No. 8 in G Major, which draws inspiration from Bohemian folk music.You are encouraged to wear your Czech costume to this event.
It will be held at the Lied Center for Performing Arts at 301 North 12th Street Lincoln, NE

Celebrating 140 Years of Christmas in Wilber
December 7th & 8th
Saturday will feature Santa, Craft Fair, Christmas Tree Contest, Polka Dancing with the Stars, and a Christmas Carp RaffleSunday will be the Second Annual production of the Czech Theatre. Featuring Radim Brach, a competition dancer from the Czech Republic - Anna Hand, the 2013-2014 Miss Czech-Slovak U.S. - The Milligan Czech Brass Band and many other talented people to entertain. Sundays event is co-sponsored by the Nebraska Czechs inc.
