Christmas Crafts
This is a fun craft that children of all ages can enjoy and learn a few new Czech words while doing it.
Directions:
-Print the two pages of ornaments shown below on heavy white paper.
-Color the images with crayons, markers, colored pencils etc.
-Embellish the images with sequins, glitter, gem stones, pearls, etc.
-Cut out each ornament with scissors, leaving the Czech word for each image as part of the ornament.
-Punch a hole in the top of each ornament, then use ornament hooks, colorful ribbons or pipe cleaners to hang your ornaments on your tree.
Use your imagination when decorating your ornaments!!

Color Your Own Christmas Tree Ornaments
The Christmas tree pictured above was decorated with these ornaments and on display in Wilber during their 2010 Hometown Holiday Celebration.
"Color Your Own Christmas" was the theme of the tree, sponsored by the Czech Language Foundation. Complimenting the ornaments were round white bulbs and multi-colored lights. A bow made of sheer white ribbon topped the tree.

All of the ornaments shown above were colored with markers and hung on the tree pictured below using green ornament hooks.
